Britton Weimer

Britton Weimer is an experienced commercial and nonprofit attorney with a strong focus on litigation, insurance and claims prevention.

Brit was born in New Jersey, and moved west to Minnesota. After graduating from the University of Minnesota Law School, he practiced for many years in commercial litigation, insurance coverage and insurance defense. He is admitted to practice in Colorado, Minnesota and Wisconsin, and has successfully litigated numerous trials and appeals for nonprofit and business clients.

A strong believer in legal education, Brit is the principal author of several plain-language law books including Employment Practices Liability (National Underwriter), Law of Commercial Insurance Agents and Brokers (Thomson West), and CGL Policy Handbook (Wolters Kluwer). He is a frequent speaker at continuing legal education seminars on law and insurance.

At Moeller Graf, Brit defends community associations, drafts governing documents, and helps boards reduce the risks of litigation. He is a zealous advocate for clients, and has the top AV peer-review rating with Martindale Hubbell for legal competency and ethics.

Outside the office, Brit enjoys spending time with family and friends, and photographing the stunning natural beauty in Colorado.
