What is it?

The Compliance Assurance Service provides that for a one-time reduced cost flat fee, after creating the policy, we will keep the file open, calendar follow-up, monitor for legislative changes that may affect the policy, and update the policy as required. This covers any required changes over the period of the Service without any additional cost to the association.

Why is it needed?

With legislative activities in the HOA space on the rise over the last five years, associations have had to continuously deploy resources and invest in updating critical documents to remain in compliance and enable enforceability. The Compliance Assurance Service creates a predictable cost at a significantly reduced rate should the need for changes arise during the period of its Service.

Is it for every policy?

This Service will be applicable to select policies. Those policies will be advertised and communicated as having Compliance Assurance Service offered.

  • Selecting a policy with Compliance Assurance Service, the association and/or manager will not need to request anything pertaining to that policy due to a legislative change. The association will be provided with a revised policy, should there be a legislative change, to comply with any new legislation that goes into effect, provided the association remains a Moeller Graf client.

  • The Compliance Assurance Service only covers the base policy created by our office. Should an association wish to alter, adjust, or otherwise customize the policy, the additional work will be billed at our then prevailing rates.

  • The Compliance Assurance Service is an additional fee above the initial fee of creating a new or revised policy. Once the Compliance Assurance Service has been selected for a particular policy, no additional costs will arise during the Service period in the case that legislative changes require a policy update. Updates to a policy that have the Compliance Assurance Service only pertain to legislative updates that are required by law, although Moeller Graf is happy to make other revisions/additions to a policy to be billed at our then prevailing rates or by an agreed upon flat fee.

  • The Compliance Assurance Service must be selected at the time of selecting the policy which is eligible for this Service.

  • The term on any policy eligible for Compliance Assurance Service in 2024 extends to 12/31/2026. At that time, the monitoring of a policy change will be terminated. This Service and its flat fee cover two legislative periods in which changes may occur.

  • The price may vary based on the policy being covered by the Service and the scope of work involved with any updates.

  • We are working on several new ways to bundle this together to significantly reduce the board’s need to track and monitor updates. Upon completion of the bundle Services, it will be communicated to all boards and management companies.

  • Any work that Moeller Graf engages in must have a formal engagement proposal signed by the association and be in place to take advantage of the Compliance Assurance Service.
